Order Processing

1. We receive your email or phone order 2. We will call and/or email you to confirm personalization, shipping and billing information 3. We will process your order (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or personal check is accepted) 4. There will be a sales tax of 9.75% on all gifts shipped within Illinois

Payment Options
We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express on a secure server for all online orders. Your credit card will not be processed until you receive order confirmation. If you would prefer to call us with your order, we will take your credit card information over the phone. Personal checks are also accepted for payment of your order. If you choose this option, please note that we will not ship your gift until we have received payment. You may make your check out to Kidoodles, Inc.

Shipping
All orders are shipped via UPS ground. Please let us know at the time of your order when your gift needs to arrive. Extra charges will apply if you request next day or second day air shipment.

Certain overweight and oversize items may cost more to ship. We will inform you at the time you order if this is the case with your gift.

If you are sending your gift to a P.O. Box, your order will be shipped via The US Postal Service.

Special Shipping Information
If you are ordering a personalized item that is printed from another vendor, you will be charged a drop ship fee, as the item is produced and shipped from the vendor's location. Items that apply are: personalized stationery, notepads, self inking stamps, embossers, plates, placemats, etched glass items, and some embroidered gifts. If you wish to pick these items up at our studio, a $4 per vendor drop ship fee will be added to your total and you will not be charged any UPS ground shipping. If you have these items shipped direct to you, you will be charged the current UPS ground shipping charge of $7.95 or more based on the weight of your item(s). If the total number of items is unusually large, we will contact you with the shipping charge before we place the order.

Order Turnaround Time
Most of our items are personalized (hand painted, printed, or embroidered), so plan on 10 business days for items that are in stock to be painted, printed or embroidered, wrapped and shipped to their destination. During busy holiday time, the turnaround could be longer. Please contact us if you need your gift to arrive by a certain date. We will do our best to accommodate you and let you know your options.

If the item you request is out of stock at the time you order, we will let you know when it will be available.

Personalized blankets and furniture have a 4-6 week turnaround time and are considered special orders. On all special orders, we will send a special order card to the recipient letting them know that a personalized gift has been ordered for them from Kidoodles.

Embroidery Options
We offer a variety of fonts and thread colors for you to choose. Typically, we will embroider your gift using a coordinating thread color and font depending on the item. If you would like us to use a specific stock color or font, just let us know. We embroider most of our items in house once or twice per week depending on our order volume. We aim to turn around embroidered gifts within 7-10 business days. Please let us know if you need your gift by a certain date and we will do our best to rush your order if it is possible. Please contact us with your requests prior to ordering so we can discuss your needs.

Local Ordering information
If you live in the Chicago area and wish to pick up your items from our studio, you may check the "in store pick up" box when checking out on line. You will not be charged shipping if you pick your items up from us.
If you are ordering a personalized item that is printed from another vendor, you will be charged a drop ship fee. (please see special shipping information above) You will be charged the current sales tax of 9.75%.

Return Policy
We are careful to confirm the spelling of each name that goes on our personalized gifts. Please check to see that you have spelled all names correctly. We can not accept returns on personalized items. Although we try our best, sometimes mistakes are made. If Kidoodles, Inc. has made an error, we will redo your gift at our cost. If the mistake is made by the customer, we will redo your item as a courtesy for 25% discount off of the original price within 15 days of the receipt of the order.

If your order was damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately. We will file a claim with UPS and replace your item. We will only accept returns on damaged items 30 days from the date of shipment.

Kidoodles designs
As you browse through our site, you will see the various designs that we have to offer. You can have any of our designs applied to the product of your choice. The cost of the gift includes personalization and the painting of the designs. We also provide a custom painting service to match your own fabric or wallpaper. There will be additional charges for these types of custom orders. Please contact us to discuss your ideas.

Gift certificates are available in any amount. Please contact us with your request.
